glasses

My mom asked me to make a set of four glasses for a friend's wedding not too long ago. I liked the idea of the glasses as wedding presents so much that I made a few sets of them, in anticipation of the weddings that I'll be attending this year. I love to give my glass as gifts, and since most people put glasses on their wedding registry anyway, I think this is a nice way to give something that's not only useful, but also handmade and beautiful. The colors in these are tourmaline and iris violet, the latter of which turns a nice silvery color when reduced. These aren't the greatest pictures, but you get the idea.
