Brett Kern - inflatable toy sculptures

Hey look! It's an inflatable dinosaur! Well, not quite, because while it certainly appears to be your garden-variety plastic toy, it's actually a ceramic sculpture by artist Brett Kern. 

Kern's detailed, playful work depicts all manner of blow-up objects in clay - from astronauts and whoppie cushions to balloons - but I think that the dinosaurs are definitely my favorite. Check out Kern's website and shop to see a whole lot more.
