2014 calendars: part 2

Oooh, letterpress. Don't you just love it? This week, I'm sharing a few of this year's picks of monthly 2014 calendars that feature this lovely printing method.

First up is Colourful, a monthly calendar printed with a 50-year-old platen press by Toronto-based designer Melissa Louie, of The Letterpress Shoppe. With a different design for each month, Colourful is a beautiful desktop calendar that can only be made with your help. That's right, Colourful has a Kickstarter campaign going on right now.

Then there's the cityscape postcard calendar, from Albertine Press. Featuring original sketches of cities from around the world, what's so great about this calendar is that not only can you use it in 2014 on your wall, but after each month is done, the image also serves as a postcard that you can send to your friends and family.

And finally, a press that I've featured here before, 1canoe2's 2014 letterpress calendar features 12 months of letterpress goodness, and comes with its own wooden stump to sit comfortably on your desk.
