Danish design studio Fabelab may currently produce only one product, but boy is it a great one.

Play Fold Bird is one of those multi-purpose items that's not only beautiful, but brilliant as well. After thinking that her children's pile of blankets could be so much more than just flat pieces of fabric, designer Michaela Weiss Kirchner Barfod struck upon the idea of turning these functional items into toys. Employing a combination of stitched patterning that functions as fold lines and some well-placed ties, Play Fold Bird easily transforms from quilted blanket into cuddly stuffed animal.
