Speaking of ways to mark the passing of the year, Brooklyn-based creative production company m ss ng p eces have created ThePresent, a very unusual take on the classic timepiece. Although it looks like a simple wall clock (albeit with only one hand), rather than telling time in minutes, hours or even months, ThePresent is actually designed to tell the time in seasons, taking an entire year to complete a rotation. It's a fascinating concept, and one that looks like has been beautifully executed.
