Bernhard Edmaier

It's been a while since I've shown any photography, but that's mostly because I haven't been particularly inspired by any lately. Of course, that all changed when I saw German photographer Bernhard Edmaier's stunning aerial photography. His images of landscapes that have emerged in the course of natural geological processes, without any human influence or manipulation, will make you see the world in a whole new way.

Driven by his perennial interest in natural phenomena, Bernhard Edmaier travels extensively to deserted and still untouched corners of the globe to gather material for his books and other photographic projects.
Edmaier sells prints of his images through his website - how incredible would it be to have any one of these hanging in your home? For more abstract landscapes, volcanoes, deserts, and glaciers, check out Edmaier's work, right here.
