Ann Marshall

Beige, 2010.

Used To Be A Southern Belle, 2011.

Portrait of a Three-Legged Rabbit, 2008.

Wait, 2011.

Sunshine and Molasses, 2010.

Ann Marshall's pastel and paper collages, with their many-layered patterns, are wonderful examples of not only the portrait genre, but they also represent mixed-media work at its finest. Whether focused directly on the viewer or off in their own world (or, as the case may be, cradling a rabbit wearing a neck cone), these tattooed ladies can't help but be utterly captivating.
