slow wood

I love interior designer Christien Starkenburg's MUN collection of side tables and desks, called Slow Wood, because of the use of slow drying mineral paints. Created for Netherlands-based Andaacht Studio, the collection is quite modern, yet simple and elegant in its design.

Each piece is made by local craftsmen in Fryslan using solid wood, 100% natural finishes and mineral paint, with the result being this beautiful, elegant collection of tables. They're a nice combination of wood and iron, with 10 different table leg finishes to choose from. See them all at the Slow Wood website.
