Leung Ka Yin

I am completely fascinated by Leung Ka Yin's artwork. Her unusual style combines traditional Chinese painting, popular culture and storytelling through both imagery and text to create a fantastical view of modern life.

The girls depicted in Leung Ka Yin's paintings and drawings live in a world where dreams and reality are indistinguishable - bodies are shed like clothing, proportion is irrelevant and people transform into animals - with each narrative richer and more varied than the last.
