How do you say goodbye to a city? While most people would simply go around to their favorite places one last time, Jon Jackson saw his move from Los Angeles to New York more like a break up, and wanted to let the city down as gently as possible. Which is why he designed Adiós LA, a series of graphic billboards posted around the famous streets of his first love. Although Jackson has now officially said his goodbyes (these billboards ran from December 17, 2010 to January 15, 2011), you can still see all of the evidence of this great project at the Adiós LA website. Because, as Jackson explains, "you can slip out the back Jack or you can put up five 10 x 23 foot billboards in your neighborhood."
