Diane Meyer

Well now, these hand-embroidered photographs, by artist Diane Meyer, are certainly unusual.

They're from her Berlin series, in which Meyer's embroidery creates pixelated patches of the image underneath. I'm not quite sure that I've ever seen work like this before, but I think it's quite beautiful and very striking.
