Ákos Major

I was sucked into the very impressive portfolio of Hungarian-born, Austrian-based photographer Ákos Major over the weekend, and if you have some time to spare, I recommend that you do the same. There are many great series to choose from, but the above photographs come from his latest, Stay. There's a stillness in Major's work that I love, and the almost washed-out quality of his photographs offset by spare spots of color will have you captivated.
