2013 calendars: part 7

Since last week, I brought you my final picks for 2013 year-at-a-glace calenders, that can only mean that this week is all about monthly calendars! So let's get right to it!

Both of Red Cruiser's 2013 calendars are a beautiful sight to behold. Seasonal harvest presents a month-by-month look at what food is currently fresh, while beer/food offers seasonal beer and food pairings. Both are printed with with 7 color ultrachrome pigment inks and are wonderful options for the food lover in your life - including you!

Next up is this incredible quilt calendar, from Linda & Harriett, which, as you can probably tell from these images, is not your ordinary monthly calendar. Entirely hand screenprinted for a limited edition of 200 and measuring in at 26" x 40", each month features a print inspired by a traditional quilt pattern, and comes with a custom made oak hanger & brass hardware. As you can imagine, a calender like this doesn't come cheap, but as its designed to be trimmed and saved (and maybe even framed, as in the image above), each month is a work of art that will last for years to come.

And finally, Krisztina Vona's 2013 calendar is an undeniably gorgeous choice, even for non French speakers. Her animal drawings, which she creates in ballpoint pen and Japanese watercolor, are simply beautiful.
