2013 calendars: part 4

This week's 2013 calendar post is all about wall calendars. While your standard 12-month, bound offerings are what people typically think of when they consider purchasing a calendar, none of the calendars on this week's list could ever be thought of as ordinary.

Our first calendar comes from Rob Ryan. A UK-based cut-paper artists whose work has always inspired me, he's assembled an entire year's worth of some of his most classic designs all into one lovely calendar package for 2013.

Next up, National Public Radio. It may not be the first place you'd think to look for a calendar, but for 2013, NPR asked a host of prominent artists/NPR listeners to answer the question "What does NPR look like to you?" in their favorite medium. The result is this fabulous calendar featuring such wonderful names as Lauren Rolwing and Skip Sterling (above, courtesy of this is NPR), Jessica Hische, Girls Can Tell, and many more. And finally, I would be remiss if I didn't include November's Designer of the Month in this round-up. Marimekko's 2013 wall calendar may be in Finnish, but it provides a year of unique illustrations that would look lovely on any wall.
