While the upside-down thing certianly has been done before, it's difficult not to be charmed by Reverso, a beautiful and bittersweet animated film by Kimberly Honma, Clément Lauricella and Arthur Seguin, from ArtFx.

At a stormy, rainy night, a boy named “EGG” lays an egg from which a monster is born. The boy, terrified, throws her into the forest. However this bizarre incident repeats every night, which leads EGG to feels like a monster himself, and his life gets more isolated…

Happy Life from SUN EGG on Vimeo.

It may sounds like the beginning to a tragedy, but as the name suggests, Happy Life is certainly anything but. Created by the duo Xin Sun and Yun Li, who work together as SUN & EGG, this uplifting little film features adorable little monsters who will make you want to get up and dance.
