I came across this music video for Danger Beach's Apache after watching the video for MGMT's All We Ever Wanted Was Everything, via one of my favorite blogs, The Fox Is Black. It's a bit of a round-about way to have found it, but the illustration for both is by Ned Wenlock (aka Oneedo) with character animation by Rodney Selby. So, while the MGMT video is newer, I really love the simplicity of the rotating, unfolding scenery in Apache. I also happen to like the music better, so there's that too, and the characters of the band members are pretty great, but really, it's just a beautiful piece of illustration and animation.
