I find everything about
Henry McCausland's illustrations fascinating, with even the most ordinary scenes suggesting a sense of adventure. And while his highly patterned, fantastically-colored landscapes aren't quite of this world, the people who inhabit them seem all the more familiar, and extraordinary, for it. Which really all just goes to a long way towards saying that I think it's pretty great stuff.
