marbelous wood

I would never have conceived of marbelizing wood, much less imagined the stunning effects that could be created from this technique, but I am certainly glad that Danish artist Pernille Snedker Hansen did. Her product, Marbelous Wood, is meant to challenge the way we use wood in our built environment, engaging in a dialogue with the natural growth rings of the underlying wood.
