Flenderhaus

Whoa impromptu architecture week, and whoa to giant public structures filled with hammocks!

Nothing says summer like beaches and hammocks, and while Flenderhaus (which translates as "bat house") might be lacking in the beaches department, it's got enough going on with its hammocks to more than make up for it. Designed by architects Heri & Salli, Flenderhaus is a public space in Vienna, Austria, that's open from now through October. I don't know about all of you, but this is exactly where I'd like to be right now.
