moviebarode

 The Wizard of Oz

Singin' In The Rain

Amélie

 Donnie Darko

Aladdin

As the name suggests, these prints are not just nicely-patterned abstracts. With moviebarcodes, each frame in a film is compressed to just a sliver. When they're all lined up, you get the above "barcodes," each one representing a different movie. I think it's amazing the way that some these, such as the brightly-hued Aladdin and the ominous Donnie Darko, end up as such perfect representations of their original film. What does your favorite movie look like? You can see many more of these right here, and even purchase prints.
