Some images of the gorgeous work by Melbourne, Australia-based artist Stanislava Pinchuk, otherwise known as
Miso. While she's created some wonderful works on
paper and as
installations, it's her street art, for which she pastes hand-drawn portraits in city streets, that I think are especially wonderful. Inspired by the Ukrainian folklore that she grew up with, Miso sees street art as a way of bringing people together by sharing and telling stories, exploring the possibilities of our cities. You can see more wonderful images of her work on her
website, and especially by browsing through her blog.
