Belgian artist
Fred Eerdekens likes to play with words, but in a slightly different manner than many other artists out there. Using light and shadow in conjunction with what, at first, appear to be either random or very simple arrangements of materials, Eerdekens creates sculptures that spell out different words and phrases. And we're not talking about mere typography either - many of the works require the viewer to stand in just the right spot in order for the message to appear.
