2011 calendars: part 3

Oh yes my friends, you'd better believe that I have more 2011 calendars to show you today. This particular calendar post has animals, seasonal poetry, abstract illustrations, photography, and some very odd phrases.

First up, we have INK + WIT's 2011 letterpress calendar "Totem Animals at Play." Each page gives you 2 months at a time, with a lovely illustration of an animal and its symbolism.

For a bit of a twist on the traditional monthly or yearly calendar, Hello Handmade Paperie has created a calendar with a seasonal format, featuring quotes by poet Mary Oliver. With each page measuring 7x7 inches, once a season has passed, the calendar portion can be trimmed down to create a pretty 5x7 piece of art that will last long past the end of 2011.

French illustrator and artist Flora Douville has created two lovely calendars this year. The first has an illustration a month...

While the second features two different photographs a month. Both are available in French and English.

And of course, we certainly can't forget the always fun, sometimes strange phrases that grace the Cats Let Nothing Darken Their Roar 2011 calendar. My personal favorite this year? April's "Atoms are so pretty and little."
