From artist Hannah Bertram's latest series, The Silence of Becoming and Disappearing. These ephemeral, site-specific dust works are being created by Bertram in 10 different, private homes during 2010. Developed in consultation with the home's owners - who are responsible for choosing both the duration of the installation and its viewers - each work is based on decorative elements such as wallpaper, carpets and furniture found throughout the home, as well as stories told by the residents. You can read more about these ambitious, lovely works on Bertram's website, here.
