Yuken Teruya

I always appreciate beautiful cut-paper artwork, and I'm particularly loving what I've seen from Yuken Teruya. Working with everyday, discarded objects - toilet paper rolls, newspapers, cardboard, disposable paper bags - he creates intricate landscapes that are stunning in their detail. I first saw some of Yuken's work from his Forest Series (first image below) at the Museum of Arts and Design's Second Lives exhibition in 2008, and I have to say that not only were his pieces some of my favorite from this show, but they are even more stunning up close.
