Gesine Hackenberg - ceramic jewelry

It's not often that I find myself attracted to both a piece of jewelry and to the object that it was taken from, but this is definitely the case with the ceramic jewelry of Gesine Hackenberg. These pretty pieces combine my love of ceramics, fascination with delftware and the fact that I totally get a kick out of any well-executed juxtaposition. Not only is her jewelry beautiful, but I'm equally blown away by the patterns created by the negative space that is a result of these creations.
