Man oh man do I love the work of Wendy MacNaughton. Her maps of places convey both geography and personal history, she makes diagrams of her thoughts and feelings, and her drawings of people, which she sketches while commuting, and which combine ink, watercolor and text, are beautiful little worlds within themselves. I highly recommend taking some time to look through Wendy's work on her website as well as her frequently updated blog.
