Okay, so you're probably wondering what's going on here. This is crochetdermy™, and it's the work of Shauna Richardson. Shauna makes these incredibly detailed, crocheted animal trophies, and then photographs them in isolated, poorly-lit locations, in places where coming upon these would probably be a terrifying experience. It's amazing how location, lighting and context can completely change the way this work is viewed. Such an awesome concept!
