stairs house

I like the unusual design for this house in Shimane Prefecture, Japan, by the y + m design office. Called Stairs House, the stairs are not only the main design feature, but the glass slits between the stairs also allow light to shine in, can be used for ventilation in the summer, and help house warmth in the winter. Plus, it's a house you can climb on!
