Willy Verginer

 

I came across Italian sculptor Willy Verginer's work through The Jealous Curator quite a few months back, and have since been unable to stop thinking about them. More than just a talented wood carver, Verginer also combines splashes of color, decorative flourishes, surreal imagery, and a clear eye for composition in his works that make them both visually appealing and technically masterful.
