My friend Jared knows that there is no way I could possibly resist a desk made out of books. But who could blame me, when it's both so well-executed and damn gorgeous? These images are of the front desk of the Delft University of Technology's architecture library, which was created from recycled books, journals and magazines and topped with glass to provide a stable, durable working surface. A desk in a library made almost entirely out of books? Genius.

Wow...this is amazing! What a great idea.
ReplyDeleteI envision you getting ride of everything in your apartment to make said book desk and have it rule the roost.
